Hydrolotion: is a daily moisturizing lotion that uses ingredients like petroleum to keep your skin moist all day long. There are some other products that contain ingredients which can actually make the skin worse. But Theraplex products don’t have any ingredients that will do that and make you worse off than before.
Emollient: penetrates deep into the skin providing excessive moisture that is best for skin that is severely dry and chapped.
FT: is an exfoliant that can be applied to the most dry and rough patches of your skin. It can be put on your feet before you go to bed with socks over it and when you wake up your skin will be softer.

Theraplex has some good ingredients that could benefit your skin. The worrisome part is that they also have included ingredients like salicylic acid which can make your skin dry out and make it worse when it starts to flake and peel. Other alcohols are included which could dry out your skin. Theraplex says that they didn’t include ingredients that would be harmful to your skin but there are several which makes me question how effective it is.
Winter can be hard on your skin. But using a good eczema treatment can make it so that even harsh environments don’t damage your skin. Theraplex tries to use good ingredients and create a good product but petroleum and mineral oil are not very good for your skin because they can take the moisture out of it.
