FreeDerm- the Miracle Cure?
The woman that created FreeDerm says that she did so because her young son was suffering from severe eczema. She includes numerous before and after pictures of her son and also has tons of testimonials from consumers–all positive of course. FreeDerm advertises that it can remove the urge for you to scratch yourself by taking away the itchiness that is associated with eczema. It can also repair dry and cracked skin without using steroids or antibiotics.
FreeDerm is an all-natural topical eczema treatment. It does have 1% hydrocortisone cream. I have used hydrocortisone numerous times to prevent outbreaks and help clear up rashes. But if you use too much hydrocortisone it can actually be dangerous for your liver. My doctor gave me a hydrocortisone lip balm that actually helped to improve my lips but I started using it too much and when my liver scores started to turn worse he recommend that I stopped using it. The only thing that I would say you have to be careful about when you use FreeDerm is that it’s a hydrocortisone product so you should probably check to make sure that you won’t be giving your baby (or yourself) too much hydrocortisone.
What’s In FreeDerm?
Deionized Water, Cardiospermum Halicacabum, Echiumoil and Sunflower Oil Unsaponifiable, Shea butter, Aloe Barbadensis Extract, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-75 Stearate, Ceteth-20, Steareth-20, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Cyclomethicone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Caprylyl Glycol & Phenoxyethanol & Hexylene glycol, Galactoarabinan, and Triethanolamine
Ingredients such as shea butter and aloe are proven to be helpful with eczema because they can increase the moisture within your skin which leaves it soft. When your skin is not moisturized properly it can become itchy, flaky, and red. They say that FreeDerm is an all-natural product that will not irritate your skin but some of the ingredients don’t seem to be completely innocent.
Gentle Solution
Because there are gentle and natural ingredients in FreeDerm it seems to be a safe product that doesn’t irritate your skin. But before applying it liberally all over your body you will probably want to test it in a small area first. Like I mentioned before be careful using hydrocortisone too much so that you don’t cause liver damage. You will especially want to talk to your doctor about that if you are planning to use it for your baby.
Should You Try FreeDerm?
This “miracle” solution does offer a free trial offer. But that’s not nearly as good as it seems. When you get a free trial you really are getting a deal that says “we are going to charge you your life savings and make you promise us your first born child.” It’s pretty bad to start with a free trial offer because if you decide to keep the product you often end up paying more than you would otherwise. But it does have a 30 day guarantee and since they say that you will see results in just 3 days taking advantage of the satisfaction guarantee might not be a bad choice. It’s not the best eczema treatment available but as far as they go it will probably do more than some of the other products but it’s really just ordinary and not extraordinary.
